Der Treffer an der Caprella, sowie an der [[Sitala]] erzeugten eine ungeheure Feuer- und Sprengsäule, beide Schiffe sanken. Schepke drehte ab und widmete sich den Rest des Geleitzuges. 1 Besatzungsmitglied kam ums Leben. der Kapitän und 51 Besatzungsmitglieder wurden vom britischen U Jäger HMS Lady Elsa (FY.124) gerettet und in Belfast (Nordirland) an Land gesetzt. |
